One sort of song that William wrote a LOT of were "dog songs". Every dog he owned had its own song. So I'm hip-deep in songs like "Jeri", "Paris", "Sunday - Ana Dreaming" and "A Winter Sky and Whiskey", At one point I tried very hard make them sound like they weren't about dogs, because some of them were clearly love songs. Then I just gave up and gave in to the fact that we were writing straight-up love songs to dogs.

This is a dog, trained not to go beyond the stone at the corner of the yard, and dreaming of the world beyond that.
