Another autobiographical piece dealing with health issues, and the "wake up call" that invariably results.. When people would tell him that songs like this are depressing, William would actually feel a little hurt. He didn't think of them that way. "But this is my life," is how he would reply.

A note on the last verse: Some people suppose that William's health problems were caused by alcohol. He would disagree, and tell you that it's the other way around.
